She guides her clients through trademark and copyright clearance, domestic and foreign registration, maintenance, and enforcement. Selena also counsels clients on legal compliance related to advertising and promotions in all forms of media.

In the Internet and e-commerce areas, Selena has successfully handled domain name disputes including anti-cyber squatting, ownership transfers, policing, and administrative actions under the ICANN Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy. In the ever-evolving social media arena, Selena advises clients regarding social media policies, blogging issues, account-jacking, and the use of social media platforms in marketing and promotion.

Selena is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), as recognized by the International Association of Privacy Professionals. She also serves as a member of Fitch Even's Diversity Committee.
