Fitch Even Attorneys Selected as Illinois Super Lawyers and Illinois Rising Stars for 2012

January 9, 2012

Eight Fitch Even partners have been selected for inclusion in the 2012 edition of Illinois Super Lawyers.

Karl R. Fink, John F. Flannery, and Timothy P. Maloney were once again recognized as top attorneys in Intellectual Property Litigation, and Joseph E. Shipley was recognized as a top attorney in Intellectual Property Law in Illinois. Up to only five percent of all lawyers in the state are named by Super Lawyers.

Mark A. Borsos, Edward E. Clair, Nicholas T. Peters, and Christine A. Pompa were also once again recognized as Illinois Rising Stars, defined as the top up-and-coming attorneys in the state who are 40 years old or younger, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less. No more than 2.5 percent of Illinois lawyers are named to this list.

Super Lawyers, published by the Legal Division of Thomas Reuters, selects attorneys using a rigorous multiphase rating process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, independent evaluation of candidates by the attorney-led research staff, a peer review of candidates by practice area, and a good-standing and disciplinary check. The objective is to create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource for lawyers and consumers searching for legal counsel.
