Fitch Even partner Thomas F. Lebens recently served as a judge during the semi-final round of the 2015 Cal Poly Innovation Quest (iQ) Competition, hosted by California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) in San Luis Obispo, California. The iQ Competition, now in its twelfth year at Cal Poly, is designed to encourage innovative college students nationwide to pursue their ideas and receive funding for them, potentially leading to the creation of new companies.
iQ was founded as a nonprofit, philanthropic corporation by Cal Poly graduates and business leaders who fund, support, and drive the organization, in the interest of fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
Tom is an active Cal Poly alumnus, serving as past president and current member of the Cal Poly Alumni Association Board of Directors, among other volunteer university posts.
