Fitch, Even, Tabin & Flannery LLP is pleased to announce that Giles N. Turner has joined our firm as an associate in our Washington, D.C. office. A registered patent attorney, Giles’s practice focus is on U.S. and international patent preparation and prosecution, assisting clients working in technical areas that include semiconductors, chemical engineering, energy, material science, biotechnology, and mechanical arts, among others.
Before joining Fitch Even, Giles served as in-house IP counsel with a Fortune 500 manufacturer. Prior to that, he practiced patent law for several years at an IP boutique headquartered in Arlington, Virginia. Giles worked as a process engineer for a multinational semiconductor manufacturing company and as a researcher for a multinational polymer manufacturing company before attending law school.
Giles earned a B.S. with Highest Honors in Chemical Engineering from Montana State University and a J.D. from the University of New Hampshire School of Law.
