Fitch Even Partner Christine Pompa Elected to AABA Chicago Board of Directors

Fitch Even partner Christine Abuel Pompa has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Asian American Bar Association Board of Greater Chicago. The 2015-16 Officers and Board of Directors were formally sworn into office at AABA Chicago’s 28th Annual Installation Ceremony and Awards Reception on August 13, 2015, at the Hotel Allegro in Chicago. The keynote address was presented by Christina M. Tchen, who is Assistant to President Barack Obama, Chief of Staff to First Lady Michelle Obama, and Executive Director of the White House Council on Women and Girls. Fitch Even was proud to be a sponsor of the event.  

AABA Chicago was founded in 1987 as an affiliate of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association. The organization strives to promote the professional growth of its members; mentor law students and new lawyers; serve and educate the local community; and offer policy recommendations on legal, social, political, and economic interests. 

Christine focuses her practice primarily on patent, trademark, trade secret, and copyright litigation and opinion work. She has represented clients in a number of technical fields including food processing, agricultural technology, telecommunications, automotive technology, and computer software. In addition to serving AABA Chicago in this new role, Christine is currently Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors for the Filipino American Lawyers Association of Chicago.
