Fitch Even Partner Joe Nabor Speaks on Foreign IP Rights for Creative Works

Fitch Even partner Joseph T. Nabor was a featured presenter at the CLE program “Two in One: Dealing With Digital and Literary Assets in the 21st Century & Intellectual Property—Possibilities and Pitfalls for Owners and Users,” presented on May 13, 2016, in Chicago, by the Chicago Bar Association and the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, in cooperation with the Illinois State Bar Association.

During Joe’s session, “Getting and Protecting Intellectual Property Rights Outside the U.S.: A Morass,” he discussed many of the legal structures currently in place to protect and enforce copyrights and other IP rights for creative works, the likely changes to those legal structures, and best practices to keep pace with the constant technological advancements that affect creative works.
