Every summer, Fitch, Even, Tabin & Flannery® invites approximately 5-8 law school students to participate in the firm's Summer Associate Program.

Summer associates work closely with many of the firm's attorneys on a wide range of assignments. Typical assignments are drafting patent and trademark applications, drafting legal memorandums, motions, and briefs, planning and attending depositions and court proceedings. In addition to receiving one-on-one mentoring on projects, summer associates are exposed to a variety of intellectual property topics through internal seminars led by experienced attorneys.

The firm holds a number of social events throughout the summer. Past events have included professional baseball games, concerts, picnics, boat cruises and dinners.

The Summer Associate Program is a major source of hiring for full-time attorney positions. In some cases, we offer continued employment on a part-time basis throughout the school year.
