Fitch Even Represents The Lakeview Pantry In Pro Bono Civil Action

March 27, 2006

Lakeview Pantry is a non-profit organization that helps people by distributing food and clothing. The Lakeview Pantry provides groceries to those who need it the most - poor people with an average income about $400 per month and often no place to live. On-site distribution and home delivery service are possible thanks to donations from the Greater Chicago Food Depository and private contributions.

Christine Abuel Pompa and Karl Fink are representing Lakeview Pantry in a civil action currently pending in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Law Division. The Lakeview Pantry has been sued in a personal injury claim involving an automobile collision between a Lakeview Pantry delivery vehicle and a Chicago Police Officer. The case was referred to the firm by Chicago Volunteer Legal Services.
