Fitch Even Attorneys Support The Regional Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition

February 9, 2008

On February 9, 2008, partner Joe Nabor and associate Chad Sullivan helped organize and operate the Midwest Regional arguments for the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition in Chicago. This competition allows law students from across the nation to compete in “moot” appeal arguments judged by leading intellectual property lawyers, and federal and state court judges. The competition is sponsored by the International Trademark Association. It is the only law school competition in the United States that focuses on trademark and unfair competition law.

Joe Nabor and Chad Sullivan continued Fitch Even’s many years of support and participation in the competition. Joe helped organize the regional competition, where students from law schools across the Midwest argued an appeal from a trademark preliminary injunction ruling. Chad Sullivan served as a bailiff for the regional arguments. In prior years, Chad competed in this event for the University of Wisconsin Law School and subsequently coached the UW team.
