Fitch Even is pleased to welcome Allen E. Hoover as a new partner, resident in the firm’s Chicago office.

Allen is an active patent litigator, and has litigated many matters to a successful conclusion. His experience includes first and second chair responsibility in many infringement lawsuits and contested matters. Allen’s experience spans many technical areas, including software, technical systems, business methods, medical devices, chemical products, and other technologies. Additionally, Allen is skilled in patent portfolio management, licensing, and counseling as well as trademark and other intellectual property areas.

Allen holds a B.S. in Chemistry and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, and a J.D. magna cum laude, all from the University of Illinois. He has authored several legal publications, has presented at numerous seminars and conferences, and has held an adjunct faculty position at one of Chicago’s law schools. Allen also lectures for a national patent bar review program.
