Fitch Even Welcomes Sherri Blount as Newest Partner

Fitch Even is pleased to announce that Sherri N. Blount., formerly of Morrison & Foerster LLP, has joined the firm. Sherri is located at the firm's Washington, DC office.

Sherri's more than 25 years of experience includes an extensive intellectual property background covering trademark and copyright counseling and litigation. Sherri's experience includes government service (at the Federal Trade Commission handling consumer protection and antitrust matters), private practice, and various in-house roles (including having served as Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS). During her ten years at PBS, she was responsible for the company's domestic and international trademark and copyright matters. She also negotiated many of PBS's major program acquisitions for its national programming service. She is the recipient of numerous awards and acknowledgements including having been named a Top Washington Lawyer in Intellectual Property by the Washingtonian in 2006 and 2008 and Intellectual Property Lawyer of the Year by the Washington Business Journal in 2007.
