March 12, 2020
Fitch Even partner Timothy P. Maloney will be a featured speaker during the Litigation Funding Forum 2020, taking place on March 26. This will be an online event following the same agenda as the originally scheduled in-person conference in NYC.
Tim’s presentation will be “A Fresh Look at the Patent Assignment Agreement: Lone Star v. United Microelectronics.” In addition to detailing the impact of the Lone Star case on the patent privateering monetization model, Tim will provide recommendations on how to transfer ownership in a way that protects a patent assertion entity’s rights to pursue infringement lawsuits.
