Fitch Even partners Karl R. Fink, Nikki Little, and Timothy P. Maloney will be featured speakers during the 2021 American Intellectual Property Law Association’s Virtual Mid-Winter Institute, taking place online February 1–5.
Karl, Nikki, and Tim will present a program on “Using Effective Communication to Achieve Litigation Success” at the Corporate Practice Committee Breakfast on February 3 from 7:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. CST. During this session they will discuss how the concepts of ethos, pathos, and logos—first described by Aristotle in the fourth century BC— form the bedrock of persuasive argument in the courtroom. Attendees will learn how to apply effective methods of communication at various stages of litigation.
