Fitch Even Partner Thomas Lebens to Speak on Patent Law and the America Invents Act

Fitch Even partner Thomas F. Lebens will be the featured speaker at “U.S. Patent Laws and the America Invents Act,” an MCLE program presented by the California Alliance of Paralegal Associations and the Central Coast Paralegal Association. The program will take place on June 13, 2012, at 12 noon, at the San Luis Obispo City Library. 

Mr. Lebens will discuss the substantial changes to patent law that have been implemented under the Leahy-Smith America Invents Act since it took effect on September 16, 2012, as well as those changes that are scheduled to come.

Mr. Lebens focuses his intellectual property law practice on the prosecution of patent, trademark, and copyright applications, as well as matters involving IP and business strategy, licensing, and infringement issues. In addition to his patent practice, he currently manages West Coast operations for Fitch Even’s San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Luis Obispo offices.
