IP Alert: USPTO Announces Location for Dallas-Fort Worth Satellite Office

December 1, 2012

As previously reported, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has been implementing its plans to open a number of satellite patent offices to complement its main offices in Arlington, Virginia. The first satellite office, located in Detroit, opened this past July. Last week, the USPTO announced that it has chosen the Terminal Annex Federal Building as the site for its Dallas-Fort Worth regional satellite office. The building is located along the southern edge of Dealey Plaza in Dallas.

The USPTO announced in August that its Denver regional satellite office would be located in the Byron G. Rogers Federal Building, within Denver’s central business district. That facility is currently under renovation, with anticipated completion in summer of 2013.

A fourth satellite office will be located in Silicon Valley, California.

Additional information on the selection of the Dallas-Fort Worth satellite office location can be found in the USPTO's press release here.
