On April 22, 2014, Fitch Even partners Stephen S. Favakeh and Allen E. Hoover presented a half-day seminar on “Sweeping Changes in U.S. Patent Practice” at Chuo University in Tokyo, Japan. The seminar was well-received by an audience of approximately 70 Japanese patent professionals, including representatives from 27 law firms and 26 corporations, many of whom are Fitch Even clients. Steve and Allen addressed a broad range of timely topics regarding patent prosecution and patent litigation in the United States and provided related practical insights drawn from Fitch Even’s own experience in these areas. After they completed their presentations, a lively question-and-answer session ensued, followed by a reception.
