Fitch Even counsel Kenneth W. Hairston will reprise his recent Fitch Even webinar, “PTAB Trial Practice: Insights from a Former USPTO Judge,” at an MCLE program presented by the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago (IPLAC) U.S. Patent Committee on May 13, 2015, at 11:30 a.m. at Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago.
Ken, a former Administrative Patent Judge, will share his insights on trial practice before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, discussing topics that include how to gain a judge’s attention in a post-issuance proceeding; how the backlog of PTAB cases may impact a post-issuance proceeding; understanding the costs involved; how to work with PTAB trial practice rules to save time and money; and effective approaches to conducting the litigation.
