Fitch Even was proud to be a sponsor of the 121st Annual Judges' Dinner hosted by the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago (IPLAC) on November 13, 2015, at the Standard Club in Chicago. This long-running event is held each year in honor of the federal judiciary. This year’s keynote speaker and recipient of IPLAC’s Distinguished Judicial Service Award was the Honorable William J. Bauer, Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
Several Fitch Even attorneys were in attendance at the event, including current IPLAC President Alisa C. Simmons, Joseph E. Shipley, Joseph T. Nabor, and Karl R. Fink.
Founded in 1884, IPLAC is the oldest intellectual property law association in the United States. Fitch Even attorneys have been actively involved with IPLAC as leaders and members since its inaugural organizational meeting.
