Fitch Even Partner Joe Nabor Participates in Law Student Mentoring Event

November 9, 2016

Fitch Even partner Joseph T. Nabor served as a mentor at a recent “speed mentoring” event and reception open to all Chicago-area law students interested in intellectual property law. The event, cosponsored by the Chicago Intellectual Property Alliance (CIPA) and the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago (IPLAC), took place on October 20, 2016, at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Participating law students had the opportunity to interact with and receive career advice from practicing IP lawyers.

Joe is a founding board member and current president of CIPA, a not-for-profit entity that promotes Chicago and its committed intellectual property practitioners, law schools, associations, and businesses as a center for IP-related developments, opportunities, and education. Joe has been active with IPLAC in a number of roles since 1994. Founded in 1884, IPLAC is the oldest intellectual property law association in the U.S. Fitch Even attorneys have served as leaders and members of the organization since its inaugural meeting.
