Fitch, Even, Tabin & Flannery is pleased to announce that Stanley A. Schlitter has joined the firm’s Chicago office as partner. A skilled litigator and tech-savvy intellectual property lawyer, Stan brings a wealth of experience to the firm.
Stan has represented clients in numerous patent infringement suits in the federal courts and at the International Trade Commission, as well as in inter partes review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. In addition, he has successfully litigated disputes involving trademark and copyright infringement, unfair competition, trade secret misappropriation, and breach of contract. Stan also provides strategic counsel to clients on IP licensing and transfer. He leverages his electrical engineering training and experience in working on matters involving a wide range of technologies.
Stan comes to us from the Chicago office of a large international full-service law firm, where he worked as a partner in their national IP practice group for over a decade.
