Fitch Even partner Christine A. Pompa will be a speaker during the Practising Law Institute (PLI) Patent Litigation 2012 seminar taking place on October 11-12, 2012, at the University of Chicago Gleacher Center in Chicago.
This annual program will provide comprehensive coverage on a wide range of topics including the effects of recent case law and the American Invents Act on patent litigation; the evolving law of the patentability of business methods; strategy and tactics in reexamination and post-grant review proceedings; current trends in patent damages; and more.
Ms. Pompa will be co-presenting a session on October 12 covering “Opinion Letters, Willful Infringement and Exceptional Case.” Her co-presenter will be Clinton H. Hallman, Jr., Chief Counsel, Global IP, Patents for Kraft Foods.
