On March 10, 2016, Fitch Even partner Christine A. Pompa served on a panel of featured speakers at a Career Pathways program sponsored by the Asian American Resource and Cultural Center (AARCC) at the University of Illinois at Chicago. The panel, comprised of professionals from a variety of fields, shared information and advice and answered questions regarding their respective career sectors.
AARCC offers social, cultural, and educational programs that foster knowledge of and engagement with issues relating to Asian Americans and Asian American studies. One of six Centers for Cultural Understanding and Social Change on the UIC campus, its mission is to promote academic and personal growth of Asian American students, advocate for access and equity, and educate UIC about Asian Americans.

Dropbox, Inc., the Federal Circuit affirmed that certain of Synchronoss's claims were invalid for indefiniteness, since the claims included a means-plus-function claim term that did not have adequate structural support in the specification.
