Fitch Even is pleased to announce that Allen E. Hoover has been named Managing Partner of the firm, succeeding Mark Hetzler, who has served as Fitch Even’s Managing Partner since 2017.
Allen has been a partner at Fitch Even for almost two decades. He focuses his practice on patent matters, including litigation and trial work, portfolio management, counseling, and licensing. He has served as lead counsel in many patent infringement lawsuits and inter partes review proceedings and is known for his integrated approach to intellectual property strategy.
As Managing Partner, Allen will oversee the firm’s strategic direction, operations, and growth initiatives, while continuing to maintain an active client practice. Allen has played a key role in firm leadership, including serving on Fitch Even’s Executive Committee and contributing to the firm’s practice management and risk oversight initiatives.
“As Managing Partner, I look forward to building on Fitch Even’s long-standing tradition of excellence in intellectual property law,” Hoover said. “Our focus remains on delivering strategic, business-driven IP solutions while continuing to invest in our people and the future of the firm.”
“Allen is an exceptional leader and a highly respected advocate for our clients,” Hetzler said. “His deep understanding of our firm and his commitment to excellence make him the perfect choice to guide Fitch Even into its next chapter.”
Mark Hetzler will remain actively involved in the firm and will continue his practice, supporting clients and the firm’s leadership during the transition.
