Please join Fitch Even and MoloLamken for a free webinar, “Keeping One Eye on the Horizon During Inter Partes Review,” on Thursday, June 26, at 9:00 a.m. PDT / 10:00 a.m. MDT / 11:00 a.m. CDT / 12 Noon EDT.

Since their inception, inter partes review (IPR) proceedings have been a popular alternative to litigating validity of patents in district court. Even if the patent owner prevails, the IPR can have important implications for both plaintiff and defendant in related litigation. This webinar will address some of the long-term effects of IPR proceedings and consider the effect of arguments made during IPRs on parallel district court litigation and related appeals.

During the webinar, the presenters will cover these topics and more:

  • Discretionary denials of IPR petitions
  • Remaining conscious of related litigation while making arguments in IPR proceedings
  • Extent of IPR estoppel
  • The effect of IPRs on claim construction
  • Crafting arguments with the possibility of appeal in mind

Our presenters will be Fitch Even partner Mark Borsos and MoloLamken partners Elizabeth Clarke and Rayiner Hashem.
