May 17, 2012

Fitch Even partner Thomas F. Lebens was recognized for his long-term volunteer service to the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) in the May 2012 issue of their newsletter, The Advocate.

Lebens was lauded for his contributions to the organization over the past ten years, during which he has served in multiple roles, including Regional Commissioner, Area Director, Chair of the Legal Commission, and member of the National Board of Directors, among others.

AYSO, founded in 1964, is a national association of the United States Soccer Federation. Encompassing over 50,000 youth soccer teams with more than 600,000 players, its vision is to provide world-class youth soccer programs that enrich children’s lives, emphasizing ethics, sportsmanship, and the development of the whole child.

Mr. Lebens focuses his intellectual property law practice on the prosecution of patent, trademark, and copyright applications, as well as matters involving IP and business strategy, licensing, and infringement issues. In addition to his patent practice, he currently manages West Coast operations for Fitch Even’s San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Luis Obispo offices.
