Colton was quoted in an article published in the December 17, 2012, online and print editions of Chemical & Engineering News, a weekly publication of the American Chemical Society. The article, titled "Protest Over U.S. Price of AIDS Drug," discusses the response expected from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to a petition asking NIH to override Abbott Laboratories’ patents on the AIDS drug, Norvir, and allow generic production to lower the drug’s cost.
