Fitch Even partner Christine A. Pompa will be a speaker during the Practising Law Institute (PLI) Patent Litigation 2013 seminar taking place on October 9-10 at the University of Chicago Gleacher Center in Chicago.
During this annual program, experienced patent litigators will provide information on a wide range of topics including an in-depth exploration of growing joint/multiple infringement litigation; the still-evolving law of the patentability of business methods and what constitutes a business method three years after Bilski; the continuing effect of the American Invents Act on patent litigation strategies; current trends in patent damages in the post-Uniloc environment; and more.
Christine will be co-presenting a session on October 10 covering “Willful Infringement and Current Defensive Strategies.” Her co-presenter will be Clinton H. Hallman, Jr., Chief Patent Counsel for Kraft Foods.
