On Friday, November 7, 2014, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) will make a stop in Chicago as part of their series of Midwest region roadshows open to the public. The Chicago program will be held at the Harold Washington Library Center’s Pritzker Auditorium, 400 S. State Street, from 1:00 to 4:30 pm. The interactive program will include, among other activities, a hands-on workshop facilitated by several PTAB judges and focused on AIA trials. Illinois CLE credit will be available. Following the program, the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago (IPLAC) will host a meet-and-greet reception for the PTAB judges and other members of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office participating in the roadshow. The reception will take place from 5:00 to 6:15 pm at the Chicago offices of Fitch, Even, Tabin & Flannery. Interested parties can register to attend by emailing Fitch Even attorney Alisa C.
