Fitch Even partners Karl R. Fink, Timothy P. Maloney, and Nicole L. Little will present a program on “The Impact of IPRs and CBMs on Patent Litigation” on May 18 during the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) 2016 Spring Meeting in Minneapolis. The program is offered in conjunction with the AIPLA Corporate Practice Committee.
The speakers will provide an overview of inter partes reviews (IPRs) and covered business method reviews (CBMs) and will discuss the differences between these proceedings. They will also share strategies and tips to consider for each type of proceeding, from both the petitioner’s and patent owner’s perspective, followed by a brief update on recent key developments in case law and applicable regulations.
